What's New - Firefly Music Festival 2014 | Festival and Camping Tips

It is now only 3 days until Firefly Music Festival 2014 opens up, and for the first time that is happening on a Thursday!  The StoreYourBoard team has been to all the Fireflys - here we were in 2012 and in 2013 - and we wouldn't miss the 2014 event, either.

We even posted our Firefly Festival and Camping Tips learned from the 2012 show.  Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on how you look at it, so much has changed since 2012 to 2014 that some of those tips don't even apply.  Check out the Firefly map - the festival grounds' 300+ acres for 2014 are now almost three times as big as they were in 2012 (87 acres).  

Firefly Music Festival 2013 Lineup | Shows to See in Dover, Delaware

Firefly released the schedule of shows for its 2013 music festival.  The biggest difference between the 2012 lineup schedule and this year's schedule is that the headlining shows will be going on later at night and so ending later - in 2012 the headliners ending at 11ish, not 12 like it will be in 2013.  And as a nice bonus - Firefly scheduled shows for after the headliners, electronic shows from 12-1 am.  The show I may be most excited about all weekend is White Panda at midnight on Saturday night.

So the Firefly Music Festival has released its lineup for the 2013 festival and it is right up there with the best of the 2013 summer festivals.  Vampire Weekend, White Panda, Ed Sharpe, Passion Pit, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Alabama Shakes and Dr. Dog are just a few of  "non-headliners" that will be playing.
