Harley Clifford Takes Top Spot at MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Stop #2

By Andrew Sachs
Harley Clifford claimed the top spot on the podium at the second stop of the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour this past weekend on Lake Norman in Mooresville, North Carolina.  The Aussie phenom and defending champion started out hot, posting the highest score in qualifying (90.67) and stayed hot all the way through the finals, where he scored a 95 to take down Stop 1 winner Phil Soven (87) and Andrew Adkison (85).

Check out Harley's stacked final run.  His combination of aerial maneuvers and rail riding was just too strong for Soven and Adkison.  But they will have more chances to get even coming up soon, as the tour leaves the east coast and moves out to the west coast for the next two stops in California and Washington.

Aaron Rathy won his second straight Polaroid Action Big-Air Contest by landing a switch Mute Mobe 540.  Still waiting for someone to top Rathy's big air specialty trick.

  • Stop 3:  Lathrop, CA on June 29
  • Stop 4:  Monroe, WA on July 13
