Phil Soven Wins MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour Stop #1

By Andrew Sachs
Phil Soven started off the 2013 MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour season with a victory this past Saturday at the PWT's season-opening event at Acworth, Georgia at Lake Acworth Beach at Cauble Park. His score of 90 was good enough to fend off Shota Tezuka and Harley Clifford, who finished second and third in the competition.  Check out the highlights!

On the women's side of the action, Amber Wing claimed the top spot on the podium, followed by Dallas Friday and Bec Gange.

The action shifted to the Polaroid Action Big-Air Contest after the final rounds of the standard competition, which similar to X-Games Big Air is about seeing who can land the biggest trick; tricks so big that they often aren't attempted in the regular competition.  Making up for his fifth place finish in the standard competition, Aaron Rathy stomped out a Mute Mobe and took first in the Big Air contest.
