How to Store Your Paddleboard at Home | SUP Storage Tips

Some people opt to buy an inflatable paddleboard for this very reason - because it deflates to store compactly when not in use. But lack of space should not be a deciding factor in whether you
choose to get a rigid board, even if you live in a small place. SUP storage racks
make use of space you didn't even realize you had. There are so many different
kinds of paddle board racks that maximize the use of space, like SUP ceiling racks, freestanding SUP racks, outdoor SUP racks, and more.

Paddleboarders Beware of Weather and Wind Conditions | A Story of Caution
Here is a story of caution to all the paddleboarders out there – check the weather and the wind conditions before setting out on your next SUP adventure!
Two sisters paddled out from Tybee Island, Georgia to enjoy some time out on the water. 8 hours later, they ended up on the shore of Hilton Head Island, sunburned and exhausted. Stormy weather hit the area where they were paddleboarding leaving them at the mercy of the storm and the wind, which blew them approximately 8 miles north, across the mouth of the Savannah River and then into the Calibogue Sound.
Thankfully, both of the women were wearing life jackets and reached shore on Hilton Head’s beaches with the help of onlookers. Check out the map above of the approximate locations where they started and ended up...

10 SUP Commandments | Paddle Board Tips for Beginners
By: Jamie Jiron
Once something is going to be a movement involving a large number of people, it's probably a wise notion to involve a set of guidelines. For instance God had to give the 10 commandments, or else today we would still be eating forbidden apples and trusting snakes in order to make decisions.
It is important that as a SUP community we all look towards something that we can all agree on, being it such a booming and relatively new industry.

City SUP Essentials | Urban Paddleboard Accessories
One of the (many) beauties of the ocean is its ability to put one’s mind at total tranquility; the relaxing sounds of waves soothe the internal soul. I am probably the furthest thing from a city person, yet I grew up around the city for my entire life. I learned to SUP down in the Outer Banks, and absolutely fell in love with it. I needed to SUP everyday for hours on end.

Paddle Boarders vs. Surfers | Can they Coexist?
Surfing and feuding go together like peanut butter and jelly. Well before the surfer, SUPer feud, there was the shortboard, longboard rukus of the 70’s and 80’s. So, what is behind this most recent skirmish?

Stand Up Paddle Boarding Rivers | The Best Places to SUP (Part 3 of 3)
The end has finally come! Here is StoreYourBoard's third and final part of our Best Places to Stand Up Paddle Board Series. So without further adieu, here are our top five rivers for stand up paddle boarding.
Colorado River Caves and Canyons –
Enjoy a two-day adventure of the Colorado River Caves and Canyons booked
through Desert Adventure. Travel down
the river’s 12 miles to find a breath taking view of the Nevada Desert ending
your route in the Emerald Caves

A good
thing remember when planning a SUP trip is the actual transport of the stand up paddleboard. With rental shops providing
boards for the masses, their weight, let alone the weight of your own board,
may be difficult to handle walking through the terrain. Get the beach the easy way with a Stand Up Paddleboard carrier! Securely holding your board with durable straps, a spot
for your paddle, and a padded shoulder strap a stand up paddleboard carrier is
the only way to take any size paddleboard to the beach without struggling.

Lake Nisswa, Minnesota – Out of the plethora of lakes located in Minnesota, Lake
Nisswa is one of the best for the stand up paddleboard riders that love
fish. With local SUP stores providing rental boards
